An enormous zoo. We ended up spending two days here. Some amazing specimens including large walk in aviaries and free flying fruit bats! The zoo had many animals from all over the world and documentation of their efforts toward conservation and reintroduction of certain animals to their natural habitats.

Seeing as it's so cold at the moment, we were wary about going to the zoo as we worried the animals would all be inside. We were correct with the majority, but the zoo has been adapted so that you can see the animals in their indoor enclosures also. Saw lots of amazing animals, some of which I have never... More

While I live close to a renowned zoo, I was very impressed with this facility. A good sign is how many young animals have been born and how animals of all ages seem to be very well cared for. I also counted five animals I have never seen before. Being an American, I loved seeing the American Bison display...a noble... More

we visited this place at the weekend it was busy but you could get a good view off all the animals. Depending on where you are staying you need to get the metro then 112 bus. The animals have good sized enclosures and all look as happy as you can in captivity. The zoo has eating places and small gift... More

I'd been worried about to visit ZOO in Dec. (too cold, too dark, most of animals are absent) But it deserves your visit. The territory (enough large) is organised well, nearly all animals can be observed close, fase-to-face (or muzzle) due to their warm parts of "rooms" and glass walls. Even basins have glasses so you're able to watch polar... More

Great time even if its not so warm outside, the animals can always be seen in their outside territory as well as their inside ones. Therefore no matter what weather you'll be always able to see animals. Great family fun, just watch out its hilly therefore please wear comfortable shoes !

Extremely well maintained, cages, walkways, toilets....an example. The glas at he cages was extremely cleaned and without scratches. Been in parks where it have been impossible to take pictures due to scratches,dirty... More

Without any doubt, this is one of most wonderful zoos in the world. The animals are well cared for, the presentations are excellent. If you are coming to Prague, this HAS to be one of your destinations.

First off, this zoo is HUGE. We took my Mom to Prague, and she wanted to see the zoo. Not something that we normally do, but since it was her trip we went. We took the zoo steamboat to get to the zoo, which was really fun. It was a bit of a walk from the port to the zoo,... More

I love spending a day at Prague Zoo. It's something I do at least once a year in the summer. The zoo is so big, you can spend a whole day there easily... probably best to wear comfy shoes as there's a lot of walking involved! Great fun for family, friends or even if you just want to go chill... More
