One of the symbols of Prague, the Church of the Virgin Mary Before Tyn is the dominant feature in the Old Town. The church was built in the 14th century and used to be a primary place of worship for foreign merchants visiting the city.

We kept seeing this building from a distance and wondered what it was , first thought was that it was a castle , it looks terrific but a bit spooky. When we went to visit lt was hard to find the entrance, all openings seemed...More

You can see this from a distance yet its hard to get to the entrance as we tried to go around but the streets weave around it. Took us a while. We got distracted by so many different sights too.

Although it is so beautiful from the outside, it not as easy to get in. I do not understant why they have built coffee shop in front of its main entrance. When we found the entrance between two coffee shops, we saw a sign that...More

Large gothic style church next to main square of Prague with no obvious entry. Quite Interesting inside, worth saving 15 minutes or so.

The impressive church is one of the major buildings around the Old Town Square. Entrance is free, so you should not miss the inside of the church, which is just as beautiful as the outside.

This church is beautiful in a very eccentric way. It looks like a medieval castle that should be guarded by a dragon. It is the most famous symbol of Prague, and it's right in the middle of Old Town Square, so you can't miss it!...More

As soon as you walk in you get the feeling as with many churches in Prague that recatholicisation was very much in mind when they were built. Very impressive, and oh no photos are allowed.

A beautiful church of 14th - 15th century in Pragues old town square. It's a magnificent construction that looks like it came out of a fairy tale at night! The lighting of the monument makes it breathtaking at night!

The structure is simply amazing. We saw it at night from the town square. It is so spectacular that it cannot be described by words. Although I took a picture, it is not reflective of actually being there. It just doesn't capture it. You simply...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
