A nice 1 hour break.

As you are touring the Prague Castle complex, this is a nice time to catch your breath. Add in a bowl of soup at the Cafe and an audio tour of the museum to round out your day.

Awesome experience....tip we thought we were almost late only to discover an hour early as actually starts at 1pm. Musicians magical, just a shame they were worthy of a much bigger audience. A MUST experience when in Prague.

Three young musicians, a flautist, a violist, and a pianist, played popular classical pieces. The setting was lovely and the musicians were competent; they played all the right notes. Unfortunately, their performances were pretty undistinguished, lacking in musical subtlety or nuance. If you would like a break from the throngs of tourists, one of these concerts will offer a pleasant... More

If you get the chance whilst in Prague, see a Midday classic concert at the castle. An hour long concert, arranged for flute, viola and piano, played in a beautifully decorated hall. Ticket to concert includes entrance to the Lobkowicz collection, plus discount off food at the Lobkowicz Palace Cafe. Miss all the queues by walking up the stairs at... More

Piano, Flute, and Violin and what a variety offered. The performers were great and their presentations were sincere. Pieces performed were Smetana's "the Vltava" (die Moldau), a Fantasie of Bizet's "Carmen", Allegro from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", Beethoven's "Fur Elise", Bach's "Inventions", and other pieces. Don't miss the museum!

Went through a package of lunch, concert and palace museum. We are both classical musicians and agreed that the trio which played the concert was first rate. The hall replicated the 17th - 19th Century intimate concert experience - wonderful sound. We were sorry when the concert was over. Highly recommended.

I saw a chamber concert here. The setting is magnificent. There is such a wealth of musical possibility in Prague-- so many beautiful venues and beautiful music. Make sure you take advantage of these opportunities,

A beautiful venue for a 3-person ensemble. Something just seemed missing in this performance. I felt like the musicians were just going through the motions. Like it was work. The flute high notes were piercing. I'm not sure if that was because the room was too small for the big sound. The pianist was good wnd the violin a little... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
