I recently visited this nice botanical garden which is situated next to the Prague Zoo. I took the subway and then connected via bus to the gardens. There is a variety of themes such as Japanese gardens and then the standard type flowers. After touring...More

Prague's Botanical Garden offered us a peaceful day away from the hustle and bustle of central Prague. The garden is quite large (20 hectares) and the northern parts seem more like a forest than a garden, which added to the tranquility of the place. They've...More

The Botanical garden (not the one in town which seems to be the responsibility of the Charles University, also ok but much smaller) is just a few minutes walking up from the Prague Zoo. It offers views, space, plants from different continents, a few indoor...More

Beautiful and quiet place after the many tourists visiting the old city. For every garden lover an interesting section. Don't forget to visit the wine bar!

A very peaceful and interesting place not far from the city center by bus, if you need a breath and a rest after the noise of this wonderful city ;-)

A beautiful landscaped garden. The Japanese part is very beautiful. For a day of Prague without tourists. You will only find local residents who enjoy a beautiful park. To reach the same bus as to the zoo.

Beautiful plants, special garden types from different parts of the world, very well arranged, situated on a hill with nice view of the surrounding countryside.

The Prague Botanical Gardens were beautiful to walk though in May. Close to the Prague Zoo so makes a great day being outside. Besides the open gardens they have a wonderful green house that should not be missed.
