I really like this part of town as it not touristy and has some great bars and restaurants. It's just a 25 minute stroll from the Old Town, or take tram number 5, from Wenceslas Square. It doesn't look pretty but it's full of character...More

It is far-removed from the tourist areas and seemingly residential. We are walkers, so we enjoyed the 20ish minute stroll to the attractions each day.

We had a great walk. It's not very far from the center. We took a tram here, but walked back. If you have more than two days in Prague - worth a visit. A lot of small cafes and shops. Zizkov tower is also nice.

This place is so different to the touristy centre of Prague, a proper local kind of place where you dont pay silly prices for food or drink.

This is the largest bronze statue in Europe and is immense be impressive. It is a fun walk from downtown and well worth the visit, there is just not much to see other than the statue.
