Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

There are so many beautiful churches in Prague ,one of my favourites to view is Roman Catholic Parish Church Of St Stepan.
Located in the New Town ,it's such a beautiful piece of architecture ,it's tall clock faced tower is such an evocative piece of architecture ,a landmark church building, very photogenic, makes for some great photographic opportunities ,it's easy to locate along Jechna and is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the New Town.

Walking around the wonderful New Town ( Nove Mesto ) is so cool, lots of interesting architecture and Roman Catholic Parrish Church Of St Stepan ( Kostel Svateho Stepana ) is a grand example of the type of architecture to be be found in this exciting district of Prague.
The church is dedicated to the first martyr of Christianity namely St Stephen ,the church was constructed between 1351 and 1401,the stone bell tower replaced a wooden structure in the 17th century to give us one of the most beautiful examples of Gothic architecture in the Nove Mesto district, the spire is particularly impressive, we viewed the church at night,it looked so evocative and made for some great photographic opportunities, the church is so easy to locate, you can jump tram numbers 22.36.51 56.57.59 to stop Stepanska were you will find this church on a street called Jechna.
Well worth checking out if your in the New Town.
