Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day 2017, and I thought I'd share a few words about this hauntingly beautiful museum. During a trip to Prague we visited Terezín Concentration Camp and the nearby Ghetto Museum, which served as a home for children ages 10 to 15 who were interned by the Nazis. Here's a few of their fairy-tale drawings, depicting such... More

This museum really strives to give its visitors a look into the human condition of those imprisoned in Terezin The art, the daily life - everything. It's an excellent exhibition.

The Muzeum Ghetta is an excellent place to learn more about the history of the Terezin concentration camp. We went to the camp first and then the Muzeum Ghetta. The displays and photos depict the sadness and crimes inflicted on the victims. It is not to be missed if you are in the area.

This museum centers mostly around the children's experience during the holocaust. Makes you want to cry.

A very well put together exhibition of the history and horrors of Terezin/Thereisenstadt ghetto/concentration camp. A must see to undermine the holocaust deniers and anti semites of our world. An easy excurcision from Prague via Uber or by tour bus. The museum shop has many books on offer about Terezin and its prisoners for those wanting deeper knowledge or who... More

The museum exposes experiences and thoughts of people that lived in close by guettos and also explained a little bit the cronologic facts of that time. I found the exposition of the children's drawing and letters was quite thrilling. Allow 1 h to visit properlly.

Its an interesting Muzeum, mostly after fortress visit. I guess could be better organized and less information be showed. After the visit you will feel your self more "rich" for sure

The museum brought to life the stories of the people who experienced the terrible treatment during the war. A must see in conjunction with the memorial, bringing the story together.

There was to much to do in Terezin for a day trip from Prague. We were able to see the South Fort and the Ghetto Museum. It is a group of rooms with items, testimony and papers from the Terezin Ghetto. There is a short film in different languages, but you have to ask about times. English was at 12:30... More
