We had a lovely guide take us up to the tower and explain about the church's history and Czech Republic. It was a beautiful church that has withstood hundreds of years. To be able to view the huge organ and bell was great.

We actually came to find the rude statue rumoured to have been positioned by a disgruntled stone mason - we couldn't find it but it is a pretty church nonetheless!

Quite small by comparison to a lot we have seen, but there is plenty to see. There are some quite amazing sculptures, which make a visit worthwhile.

Maybe I'm a little jaded by having seen so many European churches and cathedrals. This one is worth a short stop, especially in tandem with the nearby ossuary, but it's pretty typical.

I like this quiet open church. You can go up the tower but there are better views. Next to it is the ossary which contains the bones of 50,000 ex-brno citizens. Do both!

Even though it doesn't seems so, this is the highest church in Brno, so you should prepare your legs and take the steps up the tower to enjoy the view over the very city center. Otherwise the church itself is a little minimalistic in the...More

Although i didn't have the pleasure of taking a tour inside, I did get a chance to explore the outside of it. It's quite lovely and, because of it's size and distinct style, it's a perfect landmark for if you get turned around on the...More
