It depends on your opinion, I really dont like communism and communist functionalism. If you compare it with Prague astronomical clock you can say it is really poor and ugly

It does its thing at noon each day - about a 5 minute set. If you happen to be in or near the main square at noontime it is worth 5 minutes if for no other reason the really strange clucking noise that comes from...More

The astronomical clock is located on the Olomouc Square, you can watch the clock rings every hour. I will not go to Olomouc just to see the clock (because it's similar with the one in Prague), but it's worth a visit to go there. What...More

Though not as large as the astronomical clock in Prague, you will enjoy the architecture of this clock. If you want to see it working, you will have to plan your visit for noon, the only time the figures move.

This historical astronomical clock was "redesigned" by the communists. It's in a prime location in the main square, on the side of the town hall. But unless you go at the one time of day when everything moves, you only see two men with hammers...More

If you work out how to read it let me know! Very interesting conglomeration of dials, and "things" happen on the hour. Great that it has been kept working for so long.
