And they replied: do it, it won't work. You are not the first. Their website says we would go to Westerplatte, leave and come back on another boat. Their leaflet read the same. My trip was only there and back, no stop. I saw the...More

"What is there to actually do in Westerplatte if we get off the boat?" I asked the lady selling tickets. "Ah", she replied, smiling as she spoke, "it's very beautiful, there are woods to wander, a big big beach and a wonderful museum all about...More

Very good afternoon out. Half hour cruise to Westerplatte on an old galleon, just enough time for a beer! The island is basically just a big park. We got off for an hour but wish we'd booked for 2 hours. Not much to see on...More

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the Black Pearl to Westerplatte. It was only about £8 each, which was good value for money we thought. There was a bar and WC on board. Commentary in different languages on the way there and sea shanty songs on...More

We had a very pleasant boat trip with guided tour and traditional folk music. Very good value and a must for any visit to Gdansk.

The phony sailing ships are rather hokey, but the 1:20 trip was well worth it. The extensive shipyards and port facilities are impressive. Food and drink are served on board. It's optional whether one disembarks at Westerplatte and catches a later ship. The English commentary...More

Decent way to spend s few hours travelling up and down the Vistula to Westerplast. Good that it passes the shipyards which are quite interesting to see. We went on the modern boat and not the pretend pirate boat but still pleasant. Commentary was in...More
