I saw it many times from the outside. Let's call it "UFO". Always wondered about the inside. Well, I can't say it impressed me so much. If even at all. But the atmosphere was good!

It is a must when in Katowice. A great venue hosting big musicians, wonderful gigs, sport events, exhibitions, you name it! Also famous for its shape recognised by many.

It is known as the heart of the city where some entertainment and cultural events happen, make sure to do a nice research on the events done there at the time of your visit.

The museum is free on (?)Tuesdays and is in the style of Tate Modern, but the contents are pretty dull.

"Flying Saucer's shaped" hall, very important part of the history of the city Katowice and whole country. It used to be the arena of many sport events including World Championships of hockey, volleyball, handball and many more. Also this is the place which was visited by many world wide famous musicians and groups. The "Spodek" looks interesting also inside.

There's no way you can visit Katowice and not see the Spodek. It's probably the best known symbol of the city and one of the most important arenas in the whole country. However, it's not as impressive on the inside as on the outside.

We weren't inside, but saw it just from outside. Looks really majestically and modern when you realized it was build in '71.
