Came to Krakow with my Husband and our friends for the weekend. Would definitely recommend it. The the old Town is beautiful and the main areas are very clean. Plenty of restaurants and pubs/bars. Many are hidden away down alleyways, so do explore. Everything very cheap. A pint in some places is equivalent to £1.36. The Polish are very hospitable... More

A rather beautiful part of the city and draws away from the poor grey communist past of past times. The EU is obviously involved in making the city more visitor friendly. A must place to visit.

Very clean, despite so many smokers living in the area there are never any butts around or rubbish. The buildings are stunning, there's so much history in this area it's a shame you can't read about it and many tour companies take advantage and constantly ask if you'd like a tour. While they are 100% worth doing as they're incredibly... More

Great mix of shops, bars and restaurants. Beautiful architecture, you must spend at least a day walking around the Planty and the old town if you're in Krakow.

Beautiful square. Historic and energetic. Lots of sites , Great restaurants and historic architecture. It was not destroyed in World War Two so the buildings are authentic. A must see . This a Wawel Castle are worth a special trip to Krakow.

I have just spent 4 days in Krakow with 3 teenagers and had a marvellous time. There is so much to do including shopping, museums, tours (concentration camps and salt mine) - by foot, Segway, horse and carriage or electric vehicle - night clubs, bars, restaurants and I can't believe how far my money has gone. Dinner for 4 hungry... More

walking around the old town the first thing we noticed was how clean it was, and people were pleasant and very helpful. Plenty of restaurants and bars but search down the small side streets for the more authentic side. Negatives were always being asked if we wanted to take a city tour or eat in this restaurant, but if you... More

Fantastic Krakow, steeped in history, with a great many churches to visit along with the castle, plenty to do for couples and families, not too large an area, so easy on the feet.
