We first visit Kazimierz with a walking tour via escape 2 Poland. We had the opportunity to go inside one of the synagogues. Skull caps for the men and shawls for the women were provided at the entrance. We got to see the various places used in the film Schindlers List. We revisited Plac Nowy where you can buy zapiekanka... More

We were told it was better value than the Old Town but that wasn't our experience. Pleasant to walk round, mainly Jewish restaurants, not that much for vegetarians and of course meat is killed kosher. Its easy to walk to from Walwel hill and is close to the lively riverside. Definitely worth visiting

Many cozy bars and restaurants worth visiting. Relaxed atmosphere and interesting architecture. Best part of Krakow in my opinion.

You can see the difference between the old and new. Take time to stroll around as it has a different feel to it. Felt very safe and the locals are very helpful.

This part of the city is also well worth a visit, even though it can't compete with the old towns splendor.

The Jewish District in Krakow is worth a visit to see the old historical site and homes to so many Jews prior to the horrific Nazi crimes in World War II. It's also a place to fine lots of restaurants, cafes and eateries that have excellent food and drinks.

Starting with the negative - room was up in the gods, two single beds, both pushed up against a wall. The bedcover on one was torn and there were no headboards. However, the beds were comfy. The room was generally tired and in need of an update. The towels were clean but not very soft. Now the positive - excellent... More

Well worth a visit to this diverse region of Krakow. Not only is it of tremendous historical interest, but the restaurants and bars are quite different to the main square. Some great nightlife with a younger clientele, compared to the main square. We enjoyed both on our 4 day family trip.

If you're visiting Krakow, then go and see the Market Square and take in all the tourist attractions and lovely bars and restaurants. But if you want a good nightout at some amazing bars and restaurants with individual character and live music....then this is the district for you. Absolutely beautiful.

Walked through the streets in this Jewish district, it was market day so the central square was full of second hand clothes - in poor condition. Visited the Jewish centre and Old Synagogue, which were of interest. It did not live up to its guide book descriptions or reputation in my opinion.
