Loved visiting this place! There are many Migs from Russia, which are not too familiar to us Americans. They are parked in a line outside (MiG Alley) and show some signs of corrosion, which is typical of any airplane that sits out in the elements...More

It might be a taxi journey away but it's definitely worth it! This is a really large aviation museum with lots of aircraft and interactive activities. It's only cost 14 zloty for 2 students too! I'd happily of paid more!

We visited the museum in December 2017 and decided to walk from the centre of Krakow. It took us just over an hour to walk the 4.5 miles which was quite a straight forward route. We certainly felt we justified our evening meal and a...More

Walk from Barbican to Kazimierz and you will see how beautiful this city is. Visit the Central square, the castle, the dragon, Vistula river and the Jewish district, all by foot in one day.

Excellent selection of aircraft sadly rotting in the fields, but some unique prototypes and 3 hangars of curios to discover, notably: Warsaw Pact ejection seats through the years; a great glider collection and a hangar full of what must be nearly every aero engine from...More

We got here a bit late and the light was fading so didn’t have enough time on the outside exhibits as they deserved. But this was a fascinating museum with lots to interest all aviation fans. The interactive kids zone in the main building looked...More

Very nice museum with a lot of history on aviation. Children will enjoy it the most with the kind of artifacts they have.

After reading about this place, we decided to give it a try and what a little gem this place really is. A huge museum full of old and new polish aircraft. A great day out for all.

Finding a taxi in Krakow isn't a problem. A taxi from downtown to the Museum of Aviation should cost no more than 25 PLN. With the Public transport (tram) you can get there from city center (line 4) or from the main railway... More

I had good luck taking Uber several times in Jan '16 from the Radisson near the main square to the tech park next to the aviation. Each way costed zł30. Tram is a great option too...about zł3 but you'll have a 10-15min walk.
