The hall itself was amazing, and the exhibition/history very informative. The outside area (fountains, gardens) were lovely. The Japanese Garden, adjacent to the Hall, was, however, the highlight of this visit (separate charge, very cheap). Beautiful, peaceful and really well laid out.

We had an enjoyable day visiring this building and grounds. We walked in the pergola around the lake with it's gushing fountains. It was relaxing walking in the sunshine around the spacious grounds. Later in the evening we watched the light show on the water...More

The Jahrhunderthalle is a very significant building; in 1911 it was truly novel. It is deservedly a UNESCO site. This is probably Max Berg's most important building; he designed some public baths for Marie Sklodowska Curie St. but I think they have now become a...More

It's a modern congressional/sports palace/building that did not impress me. I don't think it's worth coming only because of that. But right behind it, there is a multimedia fountain. Near, there is a very pretty park and ZOO with Africarium so you will probably be...More

Attended a conference at Centennial Hall in August 2017 and found it to be a lovely setting. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Center.

A bit off from the town center but worth visiting. Part of UNESCO World Heritage, Centennial Hall is a huge, impressive structure surrounded by a nice park with fountains, colonnades and the like. The massive dome is obviously more modern than Wroclaw's Old Town but...More

This round building was built on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Leipzig and the defeat of Napoleon, aiming to host exhibitions, concerts, opera performances and sporting events. Its dome is 42 meters high and 65 meters wide. We stop for...More

We stayed at Scandic Hotel. At corner of it left tram 2 directly to the Hala Ludowa and zoo. It cost 3 zl and when you paid with credit card to the automat it was 1,50€. The building wasn't special but the fountains were... More
