Nice central square. Some lovely Elegant buildings and full of energy, hustle and bustle. Not especially atmospheric though and far too busy and noisy to relax on. Not a bad spot but a lot of nicer places in Lodz.

Lodz is an enigma, it boasts some of the finest Francophile architecture I've ever seen and in place sit is lovely but in others...not so much. This is an interesting hub near the "top" of Piotrkowska which is mostly well restored and well worth a quick browse around.

Despite the Museum looks very boring there is very interesting numismaric and archeological collection. Don't wory, enter there and visit it. The entrance fee is 9 PLZ or 6 PLZ for students.

...but for now it's just a place with nice look and architecture. You can catch a lot of trams from there.

Open square area but not much happening. Nearby is the Main Street for bars and restaurants. Nearby is the passage of roses which is very interesting

Plac Wolnosci is a point which you must see when sightseeing Łódź City. It's full of architecture variety. You can compare modern glass buildings, old church and PRL casual apartment houses. There's two museums: 1st Pharmacy and Archeological museum. Good place to drink coffee is Cafe Wolność ( view from the balcony)

Nice open space that links together Piotrkowska Street, the Park, Old Town Square, Manufaktura Centre etc. Lots of trams converge here. There are places to sit, an old church, ethnographic museum and some shops. Good landmark in the city centre to use as a meeting place.

For me it felt a little bit empty, it is good to snap some pictures. I do not recommend the restaurants nearby.

Just average place. There is only a church and very old pharmacy to visit. The place becomes magic during lightmove festival in October. Everything is illuminated - outstanding experience

I spent lots of time close to this place. It need some makeover but it is start of main street. There are 4 museums with one of the best Archaeological and Ethnographical and with Dętka. If You are in Lodz You have to go there!
