The palmhouse has a long history and you can find it in really old plants there. Wonderful climate. One of the oldest and biggest covered gardens in Europe. It was first opened to the publik in 1910. The aquarium was introduced in 1922. You can find over 170 species of fish. Hot summer in the middle of cold winter outside.... More

Something for nature fans and all of those who want to escape the city while still being in it. The greenhouse will soothe your nerves, give you a doze of extra oxygen and will be an unforgetable experience of tropical forest (especially extraordinary for kids). Additionally it's got a cute cafe at the side, where you can be surrounded with... More

Excellent place if it's raining outside - just pop in and get into the jungle! The place is not too big but it's big enough the get the feel of exotic plants. The rooms are connected so just go clockwise and you'll see everything. Get a drink at the cafe with a very pleasant interior. Don't miss the aquarium -... More

Awesome place for a rainy day. Warm, spacious, with plenty interesting plants and fish in the aquarium section. Kids can feed large karp swimming in the ponds. There is also a cafe within the place. Worth a visit. Oh, and the tickets are very cheap.

I was pleasantly surprised. It is a must see place when visiting Poznan, very cheap (7pln normal ticket) and very interesting - especially if interested in plants, but not only, since there is also a small aquarium there.

We visit this place every time we are in Poznan. Plants are old and well kept. There is even possibility to visit this place during one night in July. My daughter loves to play with koi karp in one of the pools. Lots to learn and nice cafe offers some good desserts and tea!

Not very attractive on the outside, the Palm House is much more pleasant on the inside. Is is small but packed with various plants form different climate zones of our globe. What makes the place special are additional attractions: a large segment with aquariums filled with all kinds of interesting fauna - especially endemic, cages with birds, snakes etc. Seasonal... it is very relaxing and good place to spent some time. Besides main building have quite big garden as weel. Inside I reccommend to buy a food for fish and feed them. Fish over there is so trained that it can eat directly from your hand, makes you possibility for extraordianry picture.
