Once the first section of the Royal Route, today it is the most illustrious street in the city. We were staying quite close to it so we had the pleasure of walking it many times, each of which was delightful. It is lined with churches and grand palaces. The Holy Cross church is magnificent. Within is the heart of the... More

This is a wonderful and very long 'high' street that empties out into a large square in the Old Town part of the city. This street has many restaurants and shops and government buildings as well as luxury and old-style hotels.

This is the Champs Elysees of Warsaw -- wide, spacious, and lined with beautiful historical buildings. It is such a pleasure to walk down this stately street and enjoy the sights and absorb the history of the place. It is also very tempting to veer off onto one of the side streets intersecting it! There are also many shops and... More

I love this street along with Nowy Świat. Full of well maintained historical buildings, cafes, restaurants. Great to take a walk and look around at statues, University of Warsaw, churches and President's Palace. Very small traffic, so it's quiet and nice.

Went to visit this in March 2017 we got pictures outside there was security about & as the President seems to live there you can look at from the street - it is just up from the Old Town but we didnt find it until 2nd day - it just blends in with the rest of the area

One of the oldest, well-known and most prestigious streets of Warsaw. It features a splendid architectural mix (baroque, neoclassical, rococo, among others) and historic buildings such as palaces, churches, monuments and a lot more. It's part of Warsaw's Royal Route, and links the Old Town with notable institutions such as the Presidential Palace, Warsaw University and the Polish Academy of... More
