A nice break for a rest in the city

Some colorful flowers, well groomed plants... It's not the best park in Warsaw, but still worths the visit in case you're near it.

We went to this one afternoon, went round the greenhouses and then the gardens. Didn't seem as though we timed it right as not many flowers seemed to be out. Would think when it is all in bloom it would be spectacular but for us it was not.

On our way to the shopen monument we saw the botanic gardens. We thought it will be beautiful. Nothing but green plants, horrible service and the sign is only in polish. As an English speaker I couldn't enjoy anything. Don't recommend going there, instead go the park 100 meter south from there.

With a few hours to kill before my flight home, this place was a great find. Located round the back of the university library, it's only a short walk to the roof, giving you great views, with lots of places to sit and rest. Although you need to be a student to gain access to the library, the rooftop garden... More

Ginkgo, roses, rhododendron, magnolia, lilac, and much more. If you love botanical gardens, trees, plants and flowers, then this place is a must. With a marvelous walk, fountains, hidden paces and greenhouses where is possible to see vanilla, cacao, passionflower, bananas, and other gorgeous tropical plants and trees. If you are in Warsaw between May to September this place is a must!

Not as popular as it's neighboring Lazienki park, Botanical gardens have a lot to offer. They are a vast piece of land filled with beautiful flowers, bushes and ancient trees. On the weekend You have students around the park running dedicated activities for children / keeping them well occupied while you relax with your favorite book!

Lovely weather made the visit to these gardens delightful. The greenhouses are well worth paying to go an view, lovely collection and very well maintained throughout. Labelling in parts of the garden could be improved and perhaps the areas could be labelled in English too but this did not detract from the experience. Some great mature trees, some I had... More

Definitely worth a visit. Very beautiful, quiet and peaceul forest/park with the very pictoresque castle on the island. A sublim work of rebuilding. Lots of squirrels in the park which is very amusing for even the grown-up children.

Very nice botanical garden near the Lazienky park. It still wasn't in a full bloom while I was there, but I could saw some nice plants. I have a grudge on the labels in front of the plants. They are all in Polish, so I couldn't know the names of plants. You can buy a ticket for a garden and... More
