Good museum on Poland's most famous composer

The museum seems newly refurbished. There are plenty of insights into Chopin's music and life in Poland and beyond. Be aware, you'll probably have to wait at busy times for the hourly admittance times. Use the waiting time to visit the shop or cafe.

I was expecting to hear more of his music . That was disappointing for me when I didn't . I would recommend going on a Sunday when it is free to enter.

I visited the Fryderyk Chopin Museum on a weekday during my trip to Warsaw, which fell during Chopin's birthday week. Visitors are provided with an electronic card to activate the interactive technology to explore Chopin's history and music in your native language. Students can benefit from a discounted ticket, costing only 10 zloty. There are various interactive pods and music... More

The museum is well worth a visit, but at times can seem a bit difficult to go through. There are tons of exhibits to interact with (mostly musical or vocal) but some of them were hard to figure out and a few at that time were not being used. One of the best exhibits was the room where you could... More

Very informative about the life of Chopin which is the point of a museum I suppose. Although well-presented, most of the exhibits are facsimiles and not original items and so could be looked at on-line / in books etc, the 'concert hall' is just a video playing on a large screen which I can just as easily watch at home... Arrived with high expectations. And some of the ultra-modern museum technology was first class: the listening booths where you listen to Chopin’s music were lovely. But the museum is too in love with technology: most of the exhibits had F for facsimile; relying on computer technology, an unacceptable number of locations had an apology for it not working. If you... More

A great museum to learn more about Chopin and listen to some of his music. Experience slightly marred by so much of the interactive technology being out of order. Glad i went though.

While I greatly enjoyed the visit, seeing as I found it unexpectedly by walking past it, there are aspects to the museum that heavily detract from the experience. The museum is a detailed examination of Chopin's life, but it is managed like a funeral home, or like a church service when the coffin is in front of the altar. Instead... More

It is a place where you can enlarge your knowledge about Chopin. If you like his kind of music you would like this place. If you hate classic music then it wouldn't be your favorite place but still it is worth to visit it.
