Church founded in 1657 for nuns from France, Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament. In the Warsaw Uprising of WW II, the nuns sheltered first civilians, then wounded insurgents in the church and convent. The Germans bombed the church, killing almost 1,000 inside. The church was rebuilt after 1949.

The Saint Kasimir church is a little of the very center of the old town, actually just inside the new part of Warsaw, but sure worth a visit. You can't enter unless you made an appointment, but the square on which the building is standing,...More

CHURCH OF ST CASIMIR is yet another beautiful church that we came across in the superb New Town Square. Although the New Town Square cannot compete with the wonderful Old Town this church is most certainly the focal point of this square and looks just...More

The grand facade is Baroque style, but because of war damage the interior is modern. Stepping inside is to see a contemporary scene in predominant white that is tranquil and peaceful. The nave is not the largest and only a few rows of pews are...More

Really was expecting more of a New Town Square, but this church is all you can see there. Church itself is quite nice, but somehow blands to the overall atmosphere of insignificance.

It is a small and cozy church in the middle of the Old Town with an adjacent building of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.

Church of St. Casimir is located in the New Town Square and near the Ulica Freta, then you probably see it, when you walk in these sites (very centric and interesting sites). It is a piy, but the church was closed, when we go there...More

The church itself is not something special. But is situated in a charming square in the old town, which you must visit for a walk . Nothing interesting inside.

Looks great from the outside, but seriously lacking from the inside which looked rather unimpressive. Not a must to visit unless you happen to pass by since there are many good attractions nearby.

The church has an interesting square based architecture, yet it's nothing spectacular inside. It is also located a bit off the main old town trails, thus often is missed out by tourist. It simply is lost in the crowd of old town attractions.
