A small but pretty waterfall. Lots of steps to reach it so you have to be fit, but worth the effort. Very popular so be prepared to queue when you reach the top to get the perfect photo opportunity.

Stunning views, 20minutes walking not so easy if you are with a huge cold as I was, but the view of the top is the best present, after the waterfall I recommend to visit Vogel

Short walk from the parking to the waterfall. We were completely alone there as we went very early in the morning. In high season I would recommend to go at 8AM to avoid mass tourism.

A very nice water fall . Going up 20-25 minutes , 553 steps , not so easy . This river flows to Danube river and the water gets to the Black Sea after 50-70 days . Admission 3 Euros

We made the walk from lake bohinj to the waterfall. Paid the €3 each to walk up to the waterfall itself. It was quite busy, as to be expected in August, but the footpath is easy going with plenty of spots for photos of the...More

We visited Slap Savica on a day trip to Lake Bohinj (from Bled). When we got there we realised that you had to pay for parking, so we parked a bit further down at the side of the road. It is about a 45 minute...More

After taking the 500 steps up the stairs in a beautiful forest, which was a bit challenging for me, we got to the waterfall. There was a little house at the waterfall with a view but people were queuing to be able to take a...More

I visited Slap Savica during August, and it was not that much crowded. From Ribcev Laz we rented 2 bikes and cycled our way to Slap Savica, it may be a bit difficult since it has some uphills and therefore we walked some parts and...More
