We enjoyed looking around the cathedral. Both inside and out it is an interesting building. The inside is probably more impressive than the outside, although the entrance door is quite interesting. Its close to everything else so easy enough to visit.

Whilst not the most striking exterior Cathedral we have visited, the interior is simply stunning and a must see if in Ljubljana, highly recommended

This cathedral is between the triple bridge and the farmer's market. It is easy to find. Take particular note of the doors and of the ceilings. Tourists are welcome and there is no charge to visit.

Ljubljana Cathedral, officially named St. Nicholas's Church , the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, or simply the Cathedral (Stolnica) built In the early 18th century and is located right in front of the open market. Thanks to the free tour organized by volunteers in the square with the three bridges of the Old Town, I was able to visit this magnificent church. On the main door you will see a bust of John Paul II if you are attentive. Inside the ceiling is truly magnificent.

With its beautiful depicted doors this is a beautiful and welcoming cathedral in the centre of the old town. Step inside to wonder at the mural ceiling, dome and pipe organ. Welcomes tourists and truly worth a visit.

The outside (except the portal) isn't quite impressive, but the inside is really really nice. Something like from an Italian church, really majestic and nice. Baroque is all over the place, and it has that "old feel" to it. Really recommended.

We came across this structure on our way around town and couldn't get over the amazing architecture and sculpture around the door entry ways. It's worth taking a walk and checking it out.
