It is nice when you visit an "old town" that it really feels old. This one does and has a lot of buildings that are worth photographing.

The old town is great for a leisurely walk, there's a lovely collection of restaurants and shops. Ljubljana features a nice selection of various ethnic restaurants.

By having no cars the atmosphere was way beyond pleasant. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and specialty shops to choose from. Yes there are a lot of tourist stores, but be patient.

Old town is all pedestrian except for the bicycles. It has some beautiful buildings and St. Nicholas Cathedral. There lots of shops and restaurants. Everything is open late.

I think you'd probably manage in Ljubljana itself. I'm trying to remember if I saw other wheelchair users but I'm afraid I can't. Pavements are cobbled in some places but smoother cobbles as opposed to the sharp rocky types... More
