Budapest can be proud of this outstanding highest level concert hall. Both the external architecture as well as the generous and stylish inner part: foyers and hall are on a par with that of any grand european capital or great US city. We listened to the Festival Orchestra, the best symphonic orchestra of the country under the baton of its... More

You can visit the Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art, or you can join a phenomenal concert at the Concert Hall. The building is amazing from the inside and outside also. Really like this place.

The acoustics of the main hall is just fantastic. Every single tiny note of the massive organ could be felt just as it plays around you, should it be loud or quietly played. Absolutely recommended for organ enthusiasts!

Fab concert hall and very convenient as you can drive down to a garage and no need to wait for trams in the freezing fog. It was -7.5 last nigth and we were pleased that we did not have to go out in it. From our under garage to another we made the journey easy. If car is not available,... More

I bought the ticket online. The category of the ticket was the only available. The price was second the most expensive i.e. second category of five price category. The first shock was narrowness of the seat. Unlike rest of the auditorium, seats in these three (second most expensive) rows were in the form of bench numerated for skinny or small... More

I can't comment on the National Theatre building, I have never been in it. The National Concert Hall is one of my favourite venues in Bpest. Very good acoustics, smart and clean lines to the building, comfortable seats. I find its classical music programmes drab and unimaginative therefore disappointing, overall, but have had some wonderful experiences there nevertheless. I like... More

Nice walking and some great art in a beautiful palace and beautiful grounds. Plan to spend several hours and enjoy it all. For a break there is a cafe located on the grounds.

Excellent in every way. Plan a day of walking and enjoying the grounds with refreshments at the cafe. Some great modern Hungarian artists.

Saw the incredible Recircquel Show at Festival Szinhaz MUPA, a stunningly designed modern building with clean lines and great acoustics. At night the exterior lighting changes colour! It is a little out of town but worth the trip. The Recirquel Contemporary Circus Company: Paris de Nuit was performed by superb musicians and well-seasoned professional acrobats that conveyed a playful mix... More

We had one of the most memorable experiences at this concert hall. We were able to get last minute seats behind the orchestra, which was an outstanding and memorable experience. The music itself was outstanding and the duration was just right. This is a hidden gem that if you are traveling to Budapest, you MUST visit if you love music.... More
