Just an old Tram. But as it follows the river take it. It's the best way to go from Maragarethe Bridge as far south as you want and hop on off wherever a sight is. 5 min frequency. Look for correct ticket to hop on...More

The tram is cheap and you can use it to go along the river and see the main spots. Avoid pick hours (begining and end of work day).

This tramline is a inexpansive way to do some sightseeing. It is a tramride along the donau. And you can hop off where every you want to. Take a single ticket ( 350 Hf), try to sit at the side of the Donau.

Tram no 2 runs along the Danube and is a convenient hop from Margaret Bridge past Parliament to the Central Market hall and terminates at Kozvagohid rail station.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
