Don't be put off by peple saying this is difficult to get to, it's not. From my hotel via the tube and one bus it was 40 mins overall and well worth it. 291 bus stops right outside. Quick and efficient to get onto the chairlift. A good 15 mins up and 15 down. Be prepared for the hilly terrain... More

It is a little excursion to get there, when you have time, you can walk in the Buda Hill forest or take a bus to go. From the top you have a wonderful panorama of the city.

I'm so glad I overcame my fear of heights and gave the extra effort to climb on top of this historical panorama tower - it was amazing, like being on a sky island! The only minus point comes from the fact that all the toilet on the whole mountain were closed due to "technical problems", even as the restaurants were... More

Road biking was always my favorite sport..but to climb up here in the summer was the best ever. It has a really hard angle to get up here anyhow! But the view is breathtaking. Its free to visit this place. It has a small hall underneath and than there is a really thin stone path you'll need to walk up.... More

We went up the hill from Pest via a tram, bus and cog railway, walked in the park and then took the chair lift back down. I would recommend going down in the chair lift if you are only taking a single trip, so that you can best experience the views over Buda and Pest. It may be less busy... More

After riding the Children's Railway we walked up the path to find ourselves at a stop where we could have lunch and then walk further to the tower. Climbing to the top we were rewarded with a fantastic view of Budda Hills to Danube to Pest. It was fun to point out the places we had already been and see... More

We were a little confused on the best way to get to the look out tower but took the number 2 metro from our hotel in Pest to the main bus station and jumped on the number 155 bus from there. We were told it was the last stop but when we got off we couldn't find any signs or... More
