If you're a zoo-lover than you shall take following words very seriously; as a NOT zoo-lover, I thought the zoo was very nice. It's very big, has beautiful surroundings, very many animals and lots of things to do. Although I really don't agree with how people cage animals that shouldn't be caged, a lot of them had okay habitats. Some... More

I might not be objective because I live in the city where the zoo is but I visited several ones around Europe and I still think it's one of the bests. You can spend a whole day here so compared to this the enntrance fee is very reasonable. Don't even go in if you don't have at least 3 hours... More

I found this to be a great zoo. I went since I was mostly interested in the African animals, however the zoo has a diverse offerings of animals from around the world. They also have great exhibits on both sea and land creatures.

Sure, every city has a zoo, but this one is just awesome. They have a lot of neat special exhibits and I recommend checking them out. In April/May 2016 they had a chinese lantern night show which was absolutely lovely. Worth checking out.

3 years ago I visited this Zoo and I was surprised how big restoration has been made since my childhood. Plenty of animals, well maintained garden and spaces, lots of place to drink and eat, petting zoo, animal shows etc. I was happy to see these changes as the place now can compete with other west - European Zoo, and... The zoo has a rich variety of exotic animals, but for some animals the cages seem to be to small, and we weren´t sure if the animals were in good conditions. The rest of the park was very nice and you can spend a lot of time there. You should plan enough time (minim 3h) to see everything.

I really wanted to visit this attraction, my boyfriend not so much but agreed never the less. We both had a really amazing time there, many of the animals were out and about for us to see and the viewing windows and platforms were very well located. It wasn't too busy and there really are a wide variety of animal... More

I would say that the zoo is beautifully maintained and not very crowded and not commercial. It simply has what zoos suppose to have (animals) instead of tons of souvenirs shop and eating taverns which most of the other zoos are having. Bring some snacks along and you can simply find a beautiful spot to have little picnic here. I... More

Stumbled across this gem as we were visiting hereos square. Zoo is located just behind it in a beautiful park. Exceeded all our expectations especially when we saw some bears which is not very common in many other zoos. Very impressed with this place. Highly recommend.
