Nice place to visit

Lots of things to see, great atmosphere! The jungle section has weather simulation with rainfall and thunders, also the birds roam freely.

Its similar to most aquariums that one would find in places like Dubai and Singapore - the differentiator was touching the sting rays in the open pool - this did strike a chord with my kids. located in a shopping centre - can be combined with a palace of miracles, which is another kid friendly to-do..

10 minutes of waiting for tickets it's a standard, same like a many visitors inside. But you may see many interest animals. Ideal for rainy day.

Located far away from the center, inside of shopping center. A very small place. A tour will take no more than an hour. My 7 years son loved it . But does not worse to driver there only for it.

Except the cashier was quite rude to us... animals are great, it is a good fun for family with kids or for a date. The place itself is a bit travel from the city centre, but there is a good and reliable public transport there.

We had a family trip to the Tropicarium. My kids (5 and 8 years old) loved it. There are a lot of well maintained aquarium and terrariums. Touching the rays and looking at the sharks was definitely our highlights. We spend about 2 hours there.

It is a little bit outside of the center, but you can take a bus - Nr 133E - and than go to Campona Shopping Center. Children like it very much, as there are a lot of different species of fishes, some sharks as well. My 2 grandchildren visit it 2-3 times a year.

Wonderful place to visit alone as well as with children, if you go with children be ready to spent money in store, in order to go out you have to go through this shop and all babies around playing with toys

To be honest Tropicarium should be one of the best attraction for tourists in Budapest. They gave me the opportunity to see 4-5 sharks and 2 crocodiles which for me was the best. Their aquarium is really big and you can clearly see sharks and other fish around you. I have been in many places around the world but is... More

Located inside a shopping mall, take bus 133E from the Astoria metro station. The tropicarium is not too big but provides a nice break for a few hours. Plenty of colorful and interesting fish and reptiles.
