The transport museum is closed for major renovations and isn't supposed to be open until 2019. It will be located at the eastern edge of Vidal park.

Took taxi to museum to find it closed very disappointing as it would appear to have been closed for some time and I could find no evidence as to when it would reopen.

The website says that this museum, along with several other science and technology museums will be closed until 2018. The children were very disappointed. Some of the exhibits have been moved to other locations in the country.

Not sure when or how long this has been closed for renovations. We did not know until we arrived at the door, a shame, but looking at the weeds and grass outside I'd say it's been closed some months

Going on World Women's Day the museums have special prices for women. This was obviously a treat most men were happy to take their women to! It's a wonderful museum. Well kept, interesting exhibits and a small café. A lovely walk through the park to...More

Having read so many negative reviews on here, I was in two minds whether to go. I'm so glad I did. Fascinating place! One floor devoted to trains, of the old fashioned variety and you can even go into the carriages. Then we have old...More
