We tried to get into the world famous Szechenyi spa but the main swimming pool had been drained, and the only pools we could take our children into were 38 degrees. Since it was over 5000 forints per person, and they could only have stayed in the water for 10 minutes (oh, and it was freezing!), we decided to try... More

This is my favorite baths complex in Budapest. It's not that spectacular as some of more popular places like Szechenyi or Gellert but it is really affordable (12 eur for daily ticket) and has all kinds of fun - several hot mineral springs, a sauna, two outdoor swimming pools and an outdoor leisure pool of 36° Celsius with bubbles and... Always go back to this baths. Yes, you will get lost. Yes, its a shared changing rooms (can can pay for a cubical) Yes, the staff hardly speak english. Yes, the masseuse's are abit scary. BUT You will find more locals go here than anywhere and it has a lot on offer. The massages are actually good value and are... More

I've only really been to the spa a couple of times, but my girlfriend is somewhat an enthusiast! We both really enjoyed this spa.. outdoor pool was really warm, had a back massage jet laying down, standing up, a lazy river and fountain. A few pools inside at different temps and the only thing that let it down was only... More

The Lukacs building has all the traditional features of a Hungarian bath; heated outdoor water jet pool, saunas, steam room, plunge pool, relaxation area, thermal baths, relaxation area and cafe. My boyfriend and I found it a thoroughly relaxing experience. We stayed for approximately 4 hours! My only criticisms would be the slight smell of stale water/ drains where the... More

Good because it wasn´t crowded. i think the bath is something you doesn´t have to visit if you have pother things to do, at least not if it´s a chilly day. The baths we´ve been to at orther places are much frescher and more modern. Here they don´t have a shower that spread the water and no soap or schampoo.... More

Well, I used to be in saunas or spas where the service was better, but this has atmosphere. Recommend to go there in the evening and enjoy swimming at night. Also recommend to use slippers. As a tourist I would appreciate better signs, because I was not anyone who was lost (a little bit) :-)

I visited 4 different spas during my Budapest visit and this one I liked the least but it was almost half cheapet than the others which is a big plus. Just as good as the others just not as pretty maybe.

My partner and I came here as it was included on our Budapest Card. The staff were not very helpful in explaining were the changing rooms are, that we should wear flip flops and could take our towels around with us. The 40c was the first bath we used, it was nice but my partner described it as having a... More

After a terrible experience at another local bath I decided to give this place a try (and bc the massage prices were more reasonable). I booked a massage package online which was easy but turned out to be ineffective as upon arrival my details weren't in the system. No matter, the staff at check in sorted it out without too...
