A must see. Just for the sheer glamour....if a little faded...but that adds to the charm. Not too crowded and relatively easy to get around. Everything you need such as towels and bathing caps can be hired or purchased. A very beautiful venue.

We had a two hour session one evening and enjoyed the faded charm of this traditional spa, one of so many in the city.

We have been to a few spas in Budapest This is ok but can be very crowded and there are not as many pools as in others If you are in Budapest for a short time there are better ones

Best place in Budapest, really “must see and feel”, located not far from the Danube river. Incredibly beautiful buildings and very nice thermal pools! After , I can say : life is good!!!

This was a little over-rated compared to the other baths (Széchenyi) and took itself a little too seriously. The outside pool was nice at night with views of the freedom statue and the Gellert Hotel.

I read reviews and articles indicating that this bath house is a must-see. At best, I’d call it “meh.” It is somewhat run-down and not as clean as we would have liked, probably just because it’s so old. Lots of locals. Didn’t live up to...More

Really enjoyed our morning here. I’m pleased I read other reviews as definitely need to take your own towels and flip flops. Some reviewers mentioned the state of the baths but they are 100 years old which is all part of their charm! Definitely pay...More

Easy to find entrance to the right hand side of the hotel. We had decided to have a 20min massage before we came so paying the lady was easy for her. We shared a cabin that you can keep all your valuables locked up while...More
