My husband and I love to travel, and going to the casinos is our 'thing'. We live in New Jersey but my husband was born in Hungary. Guess what? They required an US passport in order to allow my husband in the casino. What kind of business is this? Thank you anyway for not letting leave our money I this... More

I like this place because everybody is very helpful in the every steps. It is placed on a quite big area and there are enough machines for everybody.

It is the most difficult casino to get in to. They require a passport and you have to fill out a form to get membership. Once inside, it is a very big disappontment, as the casino is probably 3,000 square feet, and never crowded

The casino was good and not that bad as it shows in the reviews and most importantly there was no entry charge as mentioned in some of the reviews

This is a nice place but in the night. Though it is open 24X7. We were not carrying the passports so were not allowed in the night. So, went back in the morning to enjoy the Casino. However, upon entering we were almost alone. Staff was not ready to help you in playing the games. When we asked for help,... More

I'm not sure why this place is even open. Doesn't the Hungarian government first consult the rules in other world casinos before setting rules for a casino in Hungary? Here is the short version. First we went to a different location of this same casino and I showed my driver's licence from Ontario, Canada as ID and my wife her... More

We went to this casino, while we were stayinng at the same property and this was the worst casino experience ever, my wife was in a casino for the first time and while playing black jack, the other person on the table removed our bet in between and placed his bet, the dealer did not even bother to interject. The... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
