Our search for a quiet thermal bath experience led us to the Veli Bej baths. We visited on a weekday morning and this was a good move as we saw less than 20 people during our time at the baths. The baths are on the...More

Beautiful recently modernised baths, absolutely stunning hot thermal bath, very few people in and extremely clean. The only problem is there is no outdoor pool but if you don't mind that then this is perfect! Nice big cabins to get changed in, lovely showers also....More

My favorite bath house in Budapest. Clean, rarely over crowed, great value compared to the more famous bath houses in town. We always stop here to get over jet lag:) it works like a charm every time!

Small compared to other baths! But privacy and relaxing ambiance is what you get. Great and simple interiors. Sauna and indoor bath were my favorites!

Nicely renovated original Turkish bath that now also has four small saunas. Small basins but it had a very relaxing atmosphere on this day. One minus are the surrounding new buildings that block the sun that was intended to shine through the holes in the...More

It's the oldest bath in Budapest and it's mixed (men and women). It's smaller than the other ones but they have sauna, jacuzzi and the bath. It's simple but it's good.

It is obvious that cleanliness is a subjective concept. Many people seem to praise the cleanliness of this place, but we do not agree. We could see considerable amounts of dirt in the steam sauna as well as in the water of the pools. Regarding...More
