This is the residence of the President and is located at the top next to Buda Castle where the funicular is located. You will see there are always military soldiers guarding the palace and you are welcome to take photographs, but you won't be able...More

We went to view Sandor Palace by accident really, we were walking from the Castle to the Bastion and in-between we see Sandor Palace. It’s a true spectacle and we got there just in time for the military procession!

Nicely reconstructed palec, where the Hungarian president resides. You can reach it easily with the Buda hill funicular.

Unfortunately, we did not see the changing of the guard, and there wasn't much to see, but seeing the residence of a head of state is always interesting.

This is next to Buda castle and on the top of the Buda Hill. Protected by a good few century guards I was told that this is the presidential office. Worth looking at as it's a very nice building

I was very interested about this building as it is where the changing of the guards happens. The design of the building is also pretty cool with a little Roman inspiration with the triangle rooftop design.

It's call a palace but as special as ones like the Parliament. However, you can find many guards protecting this building, because this is where the president lives. Not much to watch, but if you happen to pass by on time, try to watch the...More

When you get off the funicular, the Buda Castle is in your left, Sandor Palace is on your right. This is the official residence of the Hungarian, and the site of the changing of the guard. Once a month, on a Saturday, there is a...More

Two serious looking guards in very small guard shacks. Great location. Not too fancy for a presidential palace.
