The museum is closed from 2016, 8th May for reconstruction works. Open again end of 2017. A muzeum zárva felujitás miatt, a nyitás 2017 év végén , valószinű.

Very interesting visual art built on the perception of the brain images. A small museum but a good collection

Free with the Budapest card. Bus outside or take the suburban train. Impressive pictures that jump out at you. The castle looks somewhat worn down.

I was really looking forward to visiting the Victor Vasarely Museum and I thought it was great! The museum is spread out on two floors. The bottom floors show Vasarely's earlier work, which I didn't find as interesting. At the same time it was good...More

I'd heard of Vasarely, and stumbled on this while waiting for a bus at Szentlelek ter. It's a very comprehensive collection of his works of art and is a nice way to pass an hour or so - made me quite like his work!

A bit out of the way for the international visitor, but still easily accessible by public transport. The art works are superb, Vasarely was one of the pioneers of op art. The building itself is not the best to house this exhibition however.

Victor Vasarely is the father of Pop & Kinetic Art. Fascinating biographical film and exhibit of provoking works. Also houses temporary exhibits of young artists. Definitely worth the short train trip outside the city.
