Just behind the monument in Heroes' Square, cross over the bridge and on your right is the park. Actually both sides of the street is all park area. The famous bath house on your left and the Vajdahunyad Castle on your right. In September the trees were all full, plenty of grassy area and flowers and shrubs throughout. The area... More

Such a beautiful park, especially during this time of year. All the trees look amazing and it's incredibly scenic.

Nice, big park adjacent to the Heroes square. Couple of mini lakes, much things to see and a great nature makes it truly a gem and a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Rest in peace one of the coolest retro places that have survived corporations and crazy new digital world for such a long time but sadly not any more. I will remember great fun moments from Vidam park and regret that my children won't get to go there too.

The Park "starts" at the Heroes' Square, and continues on a vast area behind it. Enjoy the beautiful buildings at the front and the beautiful greenery all around the park. The Zoo is also a part of the park, but you can also find a lot of beautiful buildings that contain museums, as well as a famous bath (a part... More

Hello, The park is mostly closed and the zoo is taking over the entire area, they have some plans that have been posted a few sound good but other plans sound off the wall. I guess we will have to wait and see on our next visit. I hope they keep the carousel just as it is, we have been... More

As others have already mentioned, the park was "merged" with the Zoo (Buy a zoo ticket and get free entrance, not free rides) or pay around 600ft for entry to this alone The wooden rollercoaster is excellent (note the poor employee that operates the brake in the middle for every ride), and kids over around 105cm are allowed on, which... Me and my gf visited vidam park on Saturday in the end of summer, when the park was open till 2 AM. Quite crowded, but almost all attractions were running ( outside of the roller coaster). It is definitely a good place to go, however night bus is a 10 minute walk away. The entrance covers all the rides, and... More
