If you keep an open mind and appreciate the painstaking effort that Vasarely put into his works, you won't be disappointed. His mostly 3D works are housed in an attractive but not large museum. Viewing so many similar pieces can be a bit boring as the creations seem a bit redundant. But, at the affordable fee, it is time well... More

Victor Vasarely is a fantastic artist. You can get a good insight into his work, there are some very beautiful work of art displayed here. The museum itself is a bit too simple, it will be a good idea to give some extra information about the artist and the paintings.

This small museum contains mostly quite early works from Vasarely and grafics. You can see some films where Vasarely is with his wife in the opening of museum. Never seen somebody smoking in the museum like Vasarely did.

Visited on Saturday. Although this style of art is not one of my favourites the standard of the work is first class. Vasarely's work often acheives a 3 dimensional effect with great skill and through the use of precise technique which must have required painstaking patience. The work is well worth visiting even if op art is not your thing.... More

Vasarely's art must not be explained it has to be seen. This collection contains many amazing pieces, famous ones too. Because I like bright colors, shapes and symmetry, it was the perfect museum for me.

Wonderful exhibition with good audio self-guide, explaining how Vasarely's experimentation with form, colour and geometry, led to the development of Op Art. It was exciting to see the very famous zebra. Highly recommended ,

We did not know anything about Vasarely before our visit to this museum. Now we do. Even our kids loved it and tried to make a 3d-sketch of their own.... (in which they, of course, failed....).

Vasarely was born in Pecs. The museum is well worth a visit showing the development of the art work of Victor Vasarely from different periods of his life. The 2 floor exhibition has some very exquisite pieces of his work with tapestries and paintings. The play with perspective gives a special depth to his art. The museum is very reasonable... More

an intresting little museum, that learns you a lot about this artist, the film they present is not so good (long speeches about the opening of it in Hungarian)

We loved the vaserely museum! It is intimate but has a superb collection. We paid for the audio guides which were very informative and helpful. I knew about vaserely a little before the trip, but was thoroughly impressed with all of his work! Really worth a trip.
