my trip to Szentendre had an unexpected bonus - the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and museum. A very reasonable entrance charge gives access to both and 1 hour should be sufficient time to see everything. The museum has many artifacts from times gone by, although the English description gives nothing about the history or background of the item. The cathedral is... More

This is a beautiful Museum with beautiful historic subjects of importance for Serbs. It's all systematically shown. The staff is friendly kinde. I felt wonderful! For sure, I'll be back here!

Szentendre's Serbian community makes the city interesting and visiting one of the Orthodox churches is a must. The Orthodox museum displays a selection of icons and religious objects - like other similar museums. The ticket includes a visit to the Belgrade Church. I found no objects of particular interest, the church is an interesting experience if you have not seen... More

A very interesting insight, although very small indeed. A few photo opportunities of things that you would normally not get to see.

If you're a Christian Orthodox art geek then don't miss it. Otherwise likely to be averagely interesting. Don't lose your ticket so you can get into the church later and see the spectacular iconostasis.
