I think this statue is in the grounds of the castle. It was a cold wet day when we went but think the whole area around the church and castle well worth a visit, The inside of the church is beautiful.

It is a beautyful masterpiece of barocco from the time of Maria Theresia. It is located in the castle, therefore its visit can be combined with visit of Nitra Castle and related attractions. Good position in the historical city centre, good outlook and pleasant experience.

Masterpiece of , I think , baroque sculptors with figures of saints restored to original glory with gold painted details. Amen.

I stopped by this monument on my way to the castle. In the full sunlight: the goldleaf really stands out and causes your eyes to focus on the Saints that are represented there. I was on sure of what the monument was about until I asked a local who was passing by.

Column is located just in front of a castle. Whole castle area is nowadays renovated and very nice. It is awesome to have something like this Nitra, I remember when I was a child, that this area was in a lot worse condition, therefore I recommend visiting these places for every visitor and every time when some of my foreign... More

You can find column on the way to the castle. Is just before on the entrance to the castle and from there is a nice view on the city.

To see a history of city please visit this castle and cathedral. Nice city view and historical museum. Cathedral is open during a holy church.
