This building has benefited from the Pope's visit in that an awful lot of money was spent i.e on underfloor heating. (Probably very welcome in their climate). The alter immediately attracts attention but don't miss the towering organ at the west end. A quick visit...More

We were surprised that a strict, red brick and mortar cathedral had a pink, delicate interior. The contrast was amazing.

This church is located in the old town and is currently being renovated - however, we were allowed to go inside and at least got a look at some of the artwork, statues and motifs - beautiful whether religious or not!

What it lacks on the outside it more than makes up for on the inside with beautiful artwork and motifs. This small but lovely church is located in the heart of the Old Town.

Simply gorgeous in sumptuous baroque style. It is very inspiring. The Mass was beautiful even though I didn't understand a word except for th bit of Latin

This is an important church, though from the outside the rather plain, red brick construction wouldn't necessarily alert you to that fact. Inside the largely baroque decorations and statuary are lovely (including several unusual icons), including interesting ceiling decorations.
