As I entered this cathedral, the word that I kept saying to myself was “Wow” The building is huge and tall. The decorations, intricate mouldings on the upper areas of the walls, paintings at the ceilings, big musical organs, statues, etc. are all beautiful and deserve the “WOW” word.

Said my prayers and took several pictures here.

Don’t be put off by the the outside which is not particularly attractive. It is certainly worth visiting as the interior is quite impressive and is well maintained.

This is a nice church, the exterior is not as grand as the interior so don’t be put off and just go inside.

Really nice cathedral and it was free to get in there. The alter statues are really beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

This was easily, the most impressive church that I visited on my day trip from Vilnius to Kaunas. The interior is especially eye catching .Unfortunately, there were building works going on at the time,so my pictures of the interior do not reflect the true beauty of the building. The exterior of the church is a little plain and ordinary to be honest.
Definitely, worth adding to your Kaunas itinerary.

If you're going to walk around Old Town Kaunas, you're going to stumble upon this beautiful church one way or another. Make sure to check out the stunning interior. There is no entrance fee.

The simple brick exterior implies austerity but the interior is an exercise in baroque excess! It's definitely worth a quick visit.

One of the few Gothic style churches in Lithuania. Its rather plain red brick exterior belies its ornate and beautiful interior.

Highly recommended.
