I was there only once and tried several sweets. They were definitely amazing! Lithuania is not a "chocolate country" so it's a bit difficult (and I would say unfair) to compare it with Swiss or Belgian chocolate but I think it was very good. Coffee was also nice and the atmosphere was very cosy.

It's surely the best place to try chocolate in Vilnius. This little chocolaterie is situated in a very center of Vilnius old town thus it's always nice to walk around and end up in this cozy place. Locals enjoy it as well! I highly recommend trying their hot chocolate and chocolate sweets.

A wide selection of chocolates, good price, service is good (compared to most places in Vilnius). Good place for tourists, in the middle of old town.

I passed many times this shop and one day I decided to try their chocolate because it looks beautiful. But the store was closed on the working day in the middle of the day when it should be open. There was a sticker on the door saying she will be back in 5 minutes with the phone number. So I... More

I bought a decorated chocolate tablet at Sololado namai... but it didn't taste like chocolate! It appears that mostly cocoa butter (and lots of sugar for the decoration!) was used in this tablet... instead of real cocoa beans. Perhaps the pralines are better, but the tablet is definitely not recommended! It only looks nice but has no chocolate taste at... More

Everytime i am in Trakai I have my coffee and sweet taste for the day here.. they have big collection to choose from, plus drinks. they also have some kind of education for school kids to teach them how to make chlorate.. so don't be... Wide variety of products from small animals to traditional individual pieces. Dark chocolate tastes very good. I brought home 4" chocolate squares that had painted flowers and animals on them for gifts.

Sokofado namai is a Lithuanian owned & operated chocolate shop. We tried several different pieces of the sculptural chocolates. They were all good. However, the best were the individual pieces, like you would see in a box of chocolates, in the front case. I wish we had purchased more to bring home.

In the busy and narrow Trakų gatvė in the Old Town you'll find this little chocolate shop "Home of Chocolate" with a lot of delicious home made chocolate of all kinds. They have everything from pralines to big sculptures in chocolate. It is worth a visit just to look at this. My favourite is their chocolate coated coffee beans :-).
