This Orthodox Church contains the remains of three holy monks. The vivid green interior decor is startling and the ever sweeping attendant keeps the floor spotless.

Straight in the heart of Vilnius is this amazing place, full of head covered babushkas sweeping the floors and shining candelabras, monks strolling in the garden, golden icons adorning the green walls, this is so different from western European standards that it made me understand...More

Very impressive interior, in particular the reredos (behind the altar). The exterior is rather spoiled by scaffolding right now (July 2017).

Worship at the orthodox churches seems to be much more intense than at the Roman Catholic ones. Watch, but don't snap photos. The extraordinary aspect of this church is the brilliant green of the entire huge altar backdrop.

Highly ornate interior worth seeing. Observed a religious ceremony going on during our visit in a side chapel. The priest was chanting and a group of women singing. Otherworldly!

The interior of this church is absolutely stunning, and it was lovely to see so many women working away to make it shine and keep it beautiful. I don't think I've seen so many flowers outside of a florist! As a couple in our sixties,...More

A nice church a little hidden away in old town. Small but highly decorated. Bodies of the 3 munks that was killed on display.
