This is the last remaining synagogue in Vilnius. There were once over 100. I was quite surprised that not only was the synagogue open but there was literally no security - nor even anyone there. Built in the early 1900's (1906?). Beautiful inside and out....More

It might be unfair to give this place a bad rating when I haven't been inside. But that is actually the main reason for my bad rating. The synagogue was closed to the public both times I went there during the daytime.

Must see place from architectural (unique design) and historical side of Vilnius. Pitty that only one working synagogue is left.

This beautiful shul is over 100 years old. There are prayers each morning at 8:30 and about 1/2 an hour before sunset. The Rabbi was extremely friendly and inquired if he could help anyway with our trip.

It's a beautiful Synagogue of 100 years old prayer place for Jews visiting Vilnius. Friday eve & Saturday prayers are conducted regularly . Don't forget to donate in the charity box. Shalom & may the heavens bless you !!!

At nine (Sundays and Saturdays) or 8:30 in the other days and at 15:30 every day except Saturday.
