Our hotel was nearby so we didn’t have too far to walk, but the upper part of town (Toompea) is definitely worth exploring. Some of the best (if not the best) views of Tallinn’s old town can be enjoyed from here.

Well worth a few hours" exploration or joining a tour. Walk to the lookouts for amazing views. Toompea Hill, as with the rest of the Old Town is a cornucopia of stunning buildings from Medieval to Renaissance times to modern times.

Toompea means Upper Town which should not be missed since you see the panorama view of the Old Town. It is a bit of a steep walk but worth it. There are shops along the way but it seems like they have basically the same...More

Been waiting awhile to go on the right day as weather plays a part in the experience here. I will go again once a decent snow falls but this is an example of what you will see from both city outlook points

Easy to access by walking. Nice spot, great view. Summertime is busy. Music, snacks. I would recommend this attraction.

Really glad we had a walk and checked out the view. Really lovely. Only a few minutes from the centre of old town.

Definitely head up here for the view and the interesting small streets and different feel from other parts of Old Town.

You must find time to go for a walk at this place. It is located about 15 minutes walking from the main square of Tallinn old town. From there you have the oportunity to admire the view of all town.

Do not miss this area of Tallinn. There are lots of buildings of architectural and national interest, and it is a lovely place to wander around. Very pretty and offers great views over Old Town.

Bit of a walk up the hill but definitely worth it. Great view over Tallinn and several nice shops and places to relax and have a quick drink or a bit to eat.

You could take a cab from old town and ask them to drop you at the crossroad of Toompea and Falgi Tee street. You still have to walk about 400 metres from this junction. The first 50 metres will be slightly hilly but the... More
