Kind of considered the 'Upper' part of Tallin, this area of town has a history of being the area for the royal and rich (who were able to look down on the less fortunate in the Lower town). Now it's been converted to an area...More

Probably the most beautiful place in all of the Old Town. The view is wonderful. By the way, I expected it to be more beautiful at night.

Toompea Hill is considered in the upper town. It has a wonderful view terrace. Very busy with tourists! Take you pictures and try to enjoy the moment. Nice little hike up, on the cobblestones. No high heals here or you risk a sprained ankle!

Just happened to stumble across this place while wandering around the old town. Glad we did! Just the perfect spot to have a bird's eye view of old town and it's splendid architecture from the medieval times.

The heart of Tallinn since medieval times. Parliament and of course the Nevsky cathedral are up here. Worth a visit.

You could take a cab from old town and ask them to drop you at the crossroad of Toompea and Falgi Tee street. You still have to walk about 400 metres from this junction. The first 50 metres will be slightly hilly but the... More
