It is well worth walking up here from the old town for the fantastic views over Tallin and to visit the orthodox cathedral and the lutheran church. Lots of places to eat, lots of little shops, and Toompea castle itself is worth a visit
Reasonable walk up the hill which was well rewarded at the top with a Palace, Cathedral, church, interesting embassy buildings, quaint streets and two wonderful views over Tallinn in different directions.

Visited here while on an excursion from a cruise ship. Time was limited due to the guided tour limitations. The area includes beautuful churches, the Parliament building and other interesting houses and structures with interesting architecture.
