This is a less advertised church for most tours offered in Tallinn. I came across it on my own when I was freely walking around in the old town. The exterior does not characterize the amazing interior, and one has to go in check it...More

The church could be preserved better and offer a larger variety of books and souvenirs. The glass art is too modern for the old church. They look like they are copied from a contemporary book of comics

This was somewhere we just happened upon in our wanders through Old Tallinn. It turned out to be an unexpected highlight. The exterior and interior of the church are both beautiful. Outside you will find a tower and an unusual clock. Inside you will find...More

Interesting historical building, with rotating exhibitions drawn from local museums. When we visited, the exhibit was of Guild medallions--very cool. Interesting grave tablets on display, as well as a photographic exhibit that illustrates the damage done by the Soviets during WWII and the later reconstruction....More

There is a modest charge for visiting the interior, but relatively speaking for a smallish church quite a lot to see.

Whilst the outside is interesting (especially the old wall clock) the inside is well-worth a visit. Old wooden spiral staircases leading up to the side galleries. Wooden paintings. Commemorative Flag to the British Sailors who died fighting to aid their Independence after World war I.

Although this has a (low) entrance fee, go here. The interior has many lovely medieval carvings, and the interior has real ambiance and sacred feel. Go up on the balcony thru the spiral staircase by the altar for a good view. This was the most...More

We came across this Church quite by accident and were not disappointed with its wonderful stained glass windows We even had a Benedictine Monk practicing his Gregorian Chants using an I pad piano app to help.

Interesting building. Neighboring the oldest cafe in Tallinn - Maiasmokk ("Sweet Tooth"), and in front of the Guild house.
