Went to see Bajadero in National Opera. Production was fine and the theatre was quite charming. Close to the center.

I wasn't expecting anything much of the ballet Nutcracker, as the tickets were so cheap. My goodness how wrong I was. Great value of money. Lovely little charming house, full of energy, nice decor (in stage and actual building). Definately will be coming again.

We were fortunate enough to be passing by the Estonian National Opera House and saw an advert for the Pähklipureja or Nutcracker. We called in to see if they had tickets for the ballet which they did and booked for that evening. The performance was great an all seats offer a good view of the stage. The facilities for storing... Original New York stage production directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins World premiere on September 22, 1964 at the Broadway Imperial Theatre. Excellent presentation and memorable roles. Theatre House is a small but well-beautiful. Good service and tasty coffee break.

Attending theatre is one of my great passions, the Estonian National Theatre did not disappoint! The staff are courteous, timely and efficient in their roles. Most helpful when it comes to clarifying language barriers. A truly lovely night, I look forward to returning when I am next in Estonia.

A small, traditional European opera house. The cast was almost entirely Estonian, not surprising in a country where singing is part of the national identity. Well performed; ironically the weak link in the otherwise local cast was the "imported" lead Italian tenor. Very good orchestra. And we had center orchestra (parquet) tickets for less than $20.

I make a point of going to the opera anywhere I travel. It's fun to see new houses and local audiences. This house is tiny, the seats squeak; and though the audience (almost all locals) was attentive, they did not seem very musically sophisticated. The productions are modest--obviously they do not have hundreds of thousands to spend on each production,... More

The opera has several programs during our visiting. It is recommend to book in advance as the ticket is sold fast.

A wonderful opera house, very well located within the city. As it is the case with most of the Baltic countries, they're in love with their performing arts, and Tallinn is no exception. The place was full for the showing of Sleeping Beauty, I could not see an empty seat here. Attire is semi formal, nothing too fancy, although they... More
