In my opinion its one of the best zoo's in europe. Because of the winter I couldnt see some animals but still it was awesome. It has very large area and different selection of animals. It worth every cents.

This zoo was old, and alot of it's animals had wounds and lived in poor dirty conditions. The zoo in itself is not nice at all, it's just an open field with no gardening, cafes etc. Would not recommend this one.

Place where you can spend whole day; prepare to walk. There was only one Café open, which we saw as a problem. Also felt sad of the small spaces for the animals😞 it was very easy to go there with bus 42 which stops and...More

Comparably small zoo, but with some interesting animals like Armadillo or Rhinocero. Worth to visit.

The first exhibit in the zoo is a large enclosure for the polar bears. This is a very modern enclosure and the animals appear happy in this. However this is the best enclosure in the zoo. This gives the impression that the zoo is more...More

Disappointed by visit noted as being one of the best breading zoos not many animals on view good collection of goats which seemed to have biggest enclosures

I visited the Tallinn zoo today, and found it quite depressing how terrible the animals living conditions were. For a zoo that advertises as having 80 hectares of land I was very confused as to why so many of the animals were confined in such...More

Easy to reach by bus from the town (2 Euro each way) and a reasonable entry price. It was a little disappointing though, most enclosures were either too small, or large but without good viewing platforms (i.e. animals were at the back of the enclosure...More

The zoo was exciting as they had Polar Bears, something I had not seen before. I am hopeful their new enclosure will be less confining and less concrete, but overall the animals seemed happy and playful. The 'newer' parts of the zoo were well designed...More
