Surprisingly nice little Zoo in Daugavpils city. Compact, but exciting - once you get in it is really interesting to what's done by enthusiasts there. Of course, almost free of charge. Put car outside on the street easily. Be aware there is no lunch options there so plan visit for during the suitable moment. Definitely recommend!

Definitely worthwhile a visit. The kids loved it so much. At only €0.60 you can't go wrong. The ants are something else.

Small zoo but nice and interesting for small children. Only small animals like reptiles, fish, some birds and monkeys. The price is very low. Worth visiting if you are in Daugavpils.

Lovely little zoo, that has various snakes, fish, birds and reptiles. The small exhibition is indoors, so good to visit on every season. I did not expect much, but was really surprised in the end. You can see the animals really close and the employees are very friendly and helpful. If you have an hour to spend, definitely go!

Animals trapped in the worst conditions possible, plants are all fake, not sure if all the animals are alive... If you're afraid that animals might crawl out of the cage, they actually might, because for many, there is nothing to stop them from doing that!

It is very small zoo, but it worth your time to visit (+very small entry fee, € 0,6 for adults and € 0,3 for students). Interesting interior, possibility to touch some of animals (with staff permission). I don't know any other so cozy zoo like Latgale Zoo.

You'll have seen the entire zoo in one hour, but I thought it was very nice! There's no lions or elephant but a few snakes, birds, fishes, turtles, monkeys and even a caiman and some interesting insects. The price is unbeatable (0,20 Ls for students...) and the workers are ready to explain and answer any questions (in Latvian or Russian...)
