To be fair, the ceiling vaulting is beautiful, but that's all you'll be allowed to see, & access is very limited (c10m of aisle). Everything else is roped off & guarded by an astonishingly rude elderly woman, who prevents you from entering until you have...More

I understand that churches are not just about ornamentation but this is relatively plain. I do like the mirror set on the floor to help with photos of the ceiling decoration.

Don't miss the incredible performance at noon that is about 15 min. The Pipe organ is massive and the sound is amazing. Worth 10e

The hugest organ in Latvia apparently. The concerts are nice but deceptively short and quite expensive considering how brief they are. Nice stained glass though and some nice artefacts in the courtyard.

I may be a bit prejudiced having sung in a choir here last month but... The ceiling is magnificent and the proportions of this church still with its pews is pleasing. I believe they have free concerts most Fridays too. Well worth a visit and...More

I loved this church, it is more peaceful than St. Peter's, it is the oldest one in Riga and has amazingly beautiful interiors with such a nice ceiling and good information posters around. Be sure to pop in!

Its a beautiful historic church. If youre into old churches, you'll definitely like this plainer type Baltic style church. Lots of good architecture

Located just behind St. Peters church, which sustained heavy damage during WWII this church is very well preserved and contains an attractive interior.

Nice and central church in the earth of the city. Better in the outside, "scandinavian" in the style, than in the inside.
